The projects presented on this web page are realised by the Vysočina Region Branch of the Czech Society for Ornithology. We deal with protection and research of birds and their localities. In nature conservation and research, we cooperate with other organisations and individuals:

The partner of the “Vysočina Region Biodiversity“ project, in which it guarantees project activity Vascular plants of the Vysočina Region (RNDr. Libor Ekrt, Ph.D.). It also participates at the project activity Bryophites of the Vysočina Region (RNDr. Táňa Štechová, Ph.D., Mgr. Eva Holá).

Museum of Highlands in Jihlava

The partner of the „Vysočina Region Biodiversity“ project, in which it guarantees project activities Harvestmen of the Vysočina (Pavel Bezděčka) and Ants of the Vysočina (RNDr. Klára Bezděčková, Ph.D.). It also participates at the activity Vascular plants in the Vysočina Region (Mgr. Jiří Juřička).

Participation at the „Vysočina Region Biodiversity“ project at the project activity Butterflies and Moths of the Vysočina Region that is guaranteed by lepidopterologist of the National Museum Ing. Jan Šumpich.

Wetlands – conservation and management

Participation at the projects and management of localities with specialisation on amphibians. Cooperation of our land trusts in the care after the Wetlands at Pistov and By the Popický pond. In the “Vysočina Region Biodiversity“ project, the project activity Amphibians of the Vysočina Region is guaranteed by the batrachologist Mgr. Jaromír Maštera.
